How was The Cake Jar Co. born?
The Cake Jar Co began from something simple: a love of baking and a desire to make people feel cared for. Like many good things, it started at home — baking late at night, experimenting with flavours, layering cake and frosting in jars, and seeing the way people lit up when they opened them. At first, I made them for friends and family. Then word spread. Orders came in for birthdays, gifts, events… and soon, my kitchen was filled with the scent of sponge and sugar, and the start of something special. But this isn’t just about cake. It’s about creating small moments that feel big. It’s about joy in the everyday. Comfort in the chaos. Connection across distance. Each jarcake is made fresh to order, layered by hand, and sent out with love — so whether it’s a birthday surprise or a quiet treat for yourself, it feels just right.
